How to choose Pond Pump Spares.
Pond pumps manufactured or distributed by leading brands are built to high standards and despite often running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, require the minimum of attention. As with all mechanical devices, however, on occasion a part wears or breaks, is lost or misplaced and needs to be replaced. Lifeforceonline carry a comprehensive range of spares for all the pump models we currently stock or have stocked previously. If you have a particular spares requirement or cannot find the one you are looking for on the appropriate product pages please e-mail sales@lifeforceonline.co.uk and we shall do our best to find the part you are looking for.
Pond Pump Spares commonly required.
The most commonly asked for Pump spares are without doubt impellor assemblies and intake strainer foams. Impellor assemblies are the propeller like item that fits into the centre of the pump body. This provides the drive for the water flow and if it is damaged the pump will cease to deliver water or the output may be reduced. The impellor can be replaced and this is much cheaper than replacing the whole pump. Intake strainer foams are the sponge that sits in a removable cage clipped on to the front of the pump. These strainer foams will collapse and break up through use and will usually need to be replaced at least every year and sometimes more often.
Other Pond Pump Spares.
After the two items mentioned above other spares items requested would include intake foam cages, “T” piece and flow adjuster assemblies, riser pipes and fountainheads. Most of these are obtainable, even in some cases, for models that are no longer in production.
If you need to contact Lifeforceonline about a spares item please ensure that you are able to give us the make and model number of the pump for which you require a spare, for example “Trident Maximus 1500”
