How to Choose Pond Kits.
It may be that you have long since fancied the idea of a pond in the garden but are daunted by the logistics of working out all the component requirements. How big should the liner be if I want the pond to fit in this space? Which filter should I choose? Which pond pump will operate it? All these questions and more can be answered on this website, but for those who still do not feel confident enough to make the appropriate decisions, or for those who’s busy lifestyle does not allow them the time, or even for those who just simply prefer a quick fix, then a pond kit is the answer.
What is a Pond Kit.
A Pond Kit is a selection of items that are compatible with each other and together will create a pond up to a certain size. The pond kit will include full instructions for installation together with advice on the on-going development of the pond including planting and stocking with fish. Equipment maintenance is also a subject that is covered in the comprehensive instructions. Pond kits are available enabling the creation of small, medium and large garden ponds and with the options of equipment included to make a basic installation or one with more advanced features. Telephone support is also included.
The Basic Pond Kit.
The basic Pond Kit includes a pond liner, pond liner underlay, biological pond filter and a pond pump capable of adequately servicing the requirements of the pond filter and also able to produce a fountain spray. Comprehensive instructions are included for every step.
The Intermediate Pond Kit.
The Intermediate Pond Kit includes all the items as above plus an Ultra-Violet Steriliser to guarantee crystal clear water and provide a healthier environment for fish. Also included in this kit are a tap water conditioner, a biological filter start additive to maximise filter performance and a pond maintenance kit designed to reduce sludge build up and reduce the growth of string algae, commonly known as “Blanket Weed”. Comprehensive instructions are included for every step.
The Advanced Pond Kit.
The advanced Pond Kit includes all the items as above plus a pond plant pack that will follow on to your order four to six weeks after the despatch date. This will also include planting baskets and plant fertiliser plus care instructions for the plants included in the pack. Also included is a fish food pack, a general cure all that is recommended for the medicine cabinet for fish treatments and six months supply of pre-filter media and a pack of high performance biological filter media to further enhance filter performance.
The professional Pond Kit.
The Professional Pond Kit is aimed at the budding Koi Keeper. In order to keep Koi it is necessary to totally re-think the pond concept. These potentially large, big-bodied fish require a high water quality and a significant depth to their pond if they are to thrive and remain disease free. This kit has a starter size of 16’ x 8’ x 4’ deep to provide a pond of approximately 2800 gallons (12,600 litres) and includes a support frame structure, box welded liner and advanced filtration system with U.V. and dedicated pump plus many other features. For a full list of features see the relevant product page.
These kits represent excellent value for money and with the information pack provided and telephone support for life, with Lifeforceonline you have a partner to assist you every step of the way.
